A Tryp Around Dubai

This Year I had a really interesting Valentines celebration. My mom came to Dubai for a short visit so the invitation for a staycation at Tryp by Wyndham came at the right time.

Tryp is a trendy hotel conveniently located at al Barsha Heights just minutes away from the Internet City metro station. The rooms are bright and comfy and facilities include a restaurant, bars, gym, a swimming pool and a coworking space Nest

To make our stay special the lovely Tryp team has prepared a day packed with popular Dubai adventures- jet-ski tour and dune bashing in the desert.

We headed to the Fishermen Village which is a beautiful area nearby Burj al Arab. Apart from a few good restaurants and cafes it is also a popular spot for jetski lovers.

With mom behind me on the jetski, I kept my speed at the modest 35mph while guys were racing each other and going up to 60. The feeling of freedom and the wind in our faces were just amaaaaazing and I loved the adrenaline kick. We took some selfies with Burj al Arab and headed back to the hotel to get some lunch before heading out to the desert.

I filled my plate with loads of salad and ordered a veggie risotto and I never saw a risotto THAT green hehe

After lunch we were picked by 4x4s and taken to al Awir desert for some dune bashing. A bit touristic for my taste, it was still loads and LOADS of fun as our group was giggling and filming jumping around the dunes.

Later we had a photo stop – a must with so many bloggers and influencers on the trip. Fitness guys did their tricks, some girls danced and mom and I did our signature “F@€k gravity” jump

And because normal selfies are too damn boring, I went for the little troll look hehe

We wrapped up the trip with a group photo, and to keep things spiced up I got a 360 shot of us all. We may not make a desert rose but a fun desert flower for sure 🀟🏻😝

After returning to the hotel I checked out the gym and did a bit of running and stretching. Here is a shameless selfie to prove that I do name it to the gym from time to time, although I still prefer outdoor workouts.

In the evening we had a group dinner at the lovely L1QD lounge on the second floor. The best thing was the swing that I had fun playing with.

The next day we returned there for the lovely Valentines party, this time with my hubby Marco

We had a lovely night celebrating Valentines and leaving the hotel was a bit sad as it became a second home after all the fun experiences shared there. Hopefully will return soon when pur family comes for a visit

If you are visiting Dubai any time soon, check it out for sure. Here is the website
